We'll all float on

There’s only one thing that could make this trip any better….

My brothers and Juliet flew in yesterday. It always feels like Christmas morning when I wake up knowing that I’ll see my oldest brother that day. :)

Anyway, we went to leave their luggage at the house and headed out to DC. We took the DC subway. The stations are bomb as hell. We went through a sculpture garden that was pretty neat. We went to the archives experience and took a look at the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The ink on all of them is way faded.

The highlight of the day was the bike tour we took. Mama bear sat out of course. They took us to all the capital sites at night. It was so much fun. Even though my ass hurts today, I absolutely loved it. We did all our sightseeing in three hours!

Today is museum day. There’s a rally going on at the National Lawn organized by none other than Jon Stewart that we’ll be checking out.

I swear I’ve heard mad people talking politics on these streets……

I’m here chillin’ in DC. Well, technically I’m in Virginia. So, one of my aunts is in Nicaragua for the time being so she lent us her house for the weekend which was pretty sweet. Anyway, when we got here we were starving. Mama bear and I went to get some bomb ass Mexican food. We don’t have a car so we had to walk. I didn’t have a problem with it until I noticed that every single Hispanic-looking man that drove past me was BREAKING HIS NECK to stare at me. I thought that only happened in third-world countries! I even had a couple of guys whistle at me. :(

It fucking sucked. I don’t think men realize how degrading it feels. I’m not a piece of meat, you assholes. I don’t want to walk around DC anymore…

Or maybe it’s because I’m in Virginia….
